Our Youth Group Fitness Program at RX|FIT is designed for kids in grades K–2, 3–5, and 6–8. This program helps young athletes build strength, confidence, coordination, teamwork, and most importantly — a positive relationship with fitness.
We want kids to see movement as fun and empowering, so fitness becomes a lifelong habit, not a chore.
What makes us unique? Kids train in a private, open gym space, performing scaled and age-appropriate versions of our adult workouts. For our younger groups (K–2), that means fun obstacle courses, games, and movement challenges — while older groups (grades 3–8) build strength, speed, and athletic skills through structured, engaging workouts that grow with them.
Each session is 50-60 minutes long and offered twice per week per age group. Class sizes are capped at 12 kids to keep the environment safe, structured, and personalized.
Workouts are designed to develop strength, endurance, speed, and agility using equipment like rowers, ski ergs, bikes, sleds, jump ropes, medicine balls, TRX trainers, and agility ladders. As kids grow in age and skill, we also introduce lightweight dumbbells and training barbells to build proper technique and confidence.
Classes are led by our experienced RX|FIT coaching team, with Coach Megan currently heading the program. She brings years of experience working with youth and fitness, and she personally crafts each workout to ensure it’s both effective and fun.
